A Shropshire charity has launched a new initiative to help people with sight loss.
The new initiative aims to help people by providing them with additional tools and knowledge to assist with technology.
Sight Loss Shropshire, a pioneering charity for visually impaired individuals, announced its Digital Skills & Accessibility Enablement Training programme.
They are going to be giving one-on-one sessions to teach visually impaired people on how to efficiently operate their electronic devices.

"Technology can help with daily living and support independence for people living with sight loss.
"Through our Digital Skills & Accessibility Enablement programme, we are empowering people living with sight loss to harness the full potential of technology and accessibility functions."
This instructive endeavour is part of Shropshire Council's Digital Skills Programme and is sponsored by funds obtained from Edward Cadbury Charitable Trust, Ulverscroft Foundation, and Wenlock Forester Trust.
Each session will cater to each individual's needs, the sessions will guide visually impaired individuals on a range of simple daily tasks like checking the weather, perusing the news, reading labels, letters and cooking instructions by using a handy app.
Staar-Slogrove added: "If you are already a tech user who is struggling to access your device due to sight loss, or you’re a complete newbie, no matter how much or little vision you have, we can help."
The free service is open to all ages in the Shropshire area.
These engaging sessions take place in person within community hubs across the county in a relaxed ambiance.
