The Wynnstay Hunt is looking for families to look after its latest litter of new puppies.

The five puppies were born to mother Drabble and father, Eggesford Lambert and they will soon be looking for families to look after them.

The puppies are now just over six weeks old and are weaned onto milk and puppy biscuit and they will soon be micro chipped and have their vaccinations.

“The puppies are doing well and are starting to explore their surroundings.  The tradition is that the puppies’ names begin with LA after their sire, Lambert,” said Henry Bailey, Joint Master of the Wynnstay Hunt.

Border Counties Advertizer:

“We will soon be seeking local families to look after the puppies for a few weeks as ‘puppy-walkers’ until they are ready to re-join the main pack

“This is another much-loved tradition which allows families to look after a puppy over the summer, in order for the puppies to see the world and learn about their surroundings. English Foxhounds are an incredibly gentle and affectionate breed, as well as being intelligent and quick to learn so they are an absolute delight to have around."
