A MAJOR road in north Shropshire was left affected by an accident for more than three hours on Tuesday.
Drivers were impacted upon after the A528 between Ellesmere and Cockshutt was partially closed between 1 and 4pm.
According to the highways monitoring website Inrix, the road was closed at the Kenwick Springs turn-off headed north from the village towards Ellesmere.
It is not known whether emergency services such as Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene as it was not registered on incident call logs.
Inrix recorded the road as reopening at around 4pm.
