A man has been banned from nearly a dozen shops in Oswestry for three years.
Mark Vaughan-Brown, 53, formerly of Beatrice Street, Oswestry, was handed a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) by Telford Magistrates' Court which will see him banned from almost all the major outlets in the town.
The order, which runs for three years, prevents Vaughan-Brown from entering Aldi, B&M, Boots, Heron Foods, Home Bargains, Morrisons, M&S, Poundland, Sports Direct, Sainsburys or Superdrug in Oswestry.
The order comes after a long investigation by West Mercia police who say the order is related to a string of offences in the town.

“I am happy to see that the courts are supporting us in our efforts by issuing this order.”
He must also leave a premise or an area when reasonably requested to do so by a member of uniformed staff.
Anyone who believes they have witnessed a breach of the above conditions is encouraged to contact West Mercia Police by calling 101.
