TRAFFIC Wales has issued an update on whether the A483 viaducts will likely close today (Monday, April 15) amid high winds.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind across Wales and most of England until 10pm today.
The strong winds are likely to cause travel disruptions, loss of power and coastal communities could be impacted by large waves and spray, with some areas set to get gusts of up to 55mph.
Amid the conditions, motorists have been taking to social media to query whether the A483 Dee and Ceiriog viaducts will close today.
A spokesperson for Traffic Wales said: "Based on the latest forecasts, it's unlikely that windspeeds will reach the threshold for restrictions on the viaducts today.
"We're closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates if there are any changes."
