Thousands of pounds worth of alcohol has been found hidden in bushes on a roadside in Oswestry.
Oswestry's Safer Neighbourhood Team estimated the total value of the haul at £3,000, and has now asked for details of any thefts in nearby areas that may be the source of the mystery booze.
A statement posted to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, said: "A very large amount of alcohol has been found secreted on a roadside in the Oswestry area.
"It is valued at over £3000. Enquiries are being made with neighbouring forces to establish if they have had any reports of theft."
A picture published alongside the tweet showed a huge haul of bags filled with different bottles.
