WELCOME to bygones as we invite our readers to join us on a stroll through time.
Today we venture back to 1972 and Oswestry’s Woodside School so if you were a pupil in that year you may see yourself or a friend in the following pictures.
As ever we encourage readers to share their own pictures from the past by emailing gavin.grosvenor@newsquest.co.uk today.
The school replaced the Holy Trinity Church School built in 1871 for 327 mixed pupils and closed in 1938 with pupils being transferred to the newly opened Woodside Primary School.
Do you recognise any familiar faces? Get in touch and let them know you are thinking of them.
