MYSTERY surrounds an incident that blocked an Oswestry road on Saturday morning after a car missing its front wheel was abandoned on the road.
Passerby Huw Jones was out in Middleton Road, in Oswestry, early on Saturday morning – at around 7.30am – when he came across the Vauxhall vehicle while out and about.

He took to social media to warn other drivers that the road is probably unpassable and that police had been informed of its location.
The vehicle’s missing wheel had also seemingly been placed on top of the vehicle.
Highways monitoring website Inrix does not have details for any delays or a blocked road on its information for Oswestry but drivers are being warned to avoid the road.
