A MAN arrested for causing serious injury by dangerous driving in Morda on Friday has been released on police bail.
West Merica Police confirmed on Tuesday that the 25-year-old man was released on bail after he weas arrested for the incident in the village outside Oswestry, shortly before 7am on Friday, March 10.
A woman, a pedestrian, was left with ‘life-changing’ injuries and was taken to Royal Stoke Hospital by air ambulance, while it has been reported locally that her dog did not survive the incident.

Officers from West Mercia Police spent much of Friday carrying out investigative work along Old Mapsis Way, in Morda, as well as the nearby Trefonen Road.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said on Friday: “We were on scene of a serious collision between a pedestrian and a car which happened at around 6.55am in Old Mapsis Way in Morda, Shropshire.

“The pedestrian has been airlifted to hospital with injuries believed to be life-changing.
“A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing injury through dangerous driving.”
The man will return to West Mercia Police at a later date.
