AN Oswestry café has announced it is shutting for good following a brief period of closure, but has announced it is working on a “new venture”, in a cryptic social media post.
Wednesdays Café Bar, located in Castle Court behind Bailey Street, posted on its Facebook page on Saturday March 9, letting its customers know that more details of the new project are to follow soon.
“Lots of you may have noticed we've been closed this week, some of you know why and if anyone else would like to know why we will happily tell you when we see you,” the café said in the post.
“Unfortunately due to what happened we have been forced to close the doors, but don't panic we have a new venture in the pipeline, details to follow over the next few days.
“Thank you all for your continuous support and we really hope you will all follow us with our new venture.”
The café was the victim of a suspected burglary last July, but reopened the very same day.
