A LUCKY postcode near Oswestry has won in yesterday’s, Thursday, January 11, People's Postcode lottery draw.
The pay-out for anyone possessing a ticket under this postcode was £1,000.
The lottery works by players signing up with their postcode and paying £12 per month.
They are "automatically entered into every draw and prizes are announced every day of the month".
With daily announcements, a third of ticket funds support various UK causes.
The winning postcode today is SY4 1DE in Nesscliffe.
To date, the Postcode Lottery has raised over £1 billion and funded thousands of projects nationwide.
