PUBGOERS in Oswestry were left stunned over the weekend after a video emerged of a van being driven into the Boar’s Head in Willow Street.
West Mercia Police have confirmed that no arrests have yet been made in relation to the incident, a video of which has been shared widely online.
The footage, published on social media on Sunday, showed a man revving up the driveway of the popular pub, where there is also outdoor seating.

The video shows a man attempting to drive up the outside of the pub on more than one occasion while screams can be heard in the distance.
The video then goes on to show the van’s bumper ripped off during the incident.
A man is then seen trying to calm the driver, with people standing by watching before he exits the vehicle and launches into a tirade at people who appear to be staff from the pub.
This video contains swearing and some scenes viewers may find alarming.

The incident is believed to have happened at around midnight on Saturday night into Sunday morning, December 7.
Footage has also been posted to social media showing the incident from inside the pub.
A woman is heard screaming at the man to get back into his vehicle before the incident escalates.

A spokesman for the police said: “Officers attended the Boars Head Inn in Willow Street in Oswestry following a report of criminal damage at around 12.15am on Sunday, January 7.
“Nobody was injured during the incident.
“An investigation is ongoing. At this stage no arrests have been made.”
