A CAR has been stuck in flood water on a main road into and out of Oswestry, as Storm Henk brings a new wave of rain and wind to the area.
A blue BMW got stuck in the rising waters in Gobowen Road, an area prone to flooding.
An eyewitness from the scene said the car appeared to experience engine failure after driving into the flood water.
This incident comes after Oswestry and surrounding areas have been issued with a yellow weather warning for rain as storm Henk threatens travel disruptions and flooding.

The Environment Agency (EA) has also updated their flood warnings, with most of the country being under alert.
In the Gobowen Road area, water has now reached over six to seven inches, with some residents being threatened by the flood waters entering their homes.
Officials caution people to avoid travelling through these areas.
West Mercia Police said: “If you come across a road that is flooded, do not attempt to drive through it – just 30 cm of water is enough to float your car.
“In all other areas, roads will be extremely wet and stopping distances could double.
“Take extra care, slow down and keep back from the vehicle in front.”
