The public are being given the chance to have a say on plans for nearly 20 new council homes in a Powys village.
Residents living in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant have an opportunity to have their say on plans for a proposed housing development in the village, Powys County Council has said.
The council is looking to build 18, highly insulated and eco-friendly homes on land to the west of Maes yr Esgob.
The proposed development will consist of two three-bed houses, six two-bed houses, six one-bed houses and for one-bed bungalows.

A pre-application consultation has now started for the proposed development, which will run until Tuesday, January 16, 2024, and will allow interested parties to comment on the plans before a planning application is submitted.
If permission is granted, the new homes will be owned and managed by the council and allocated to tenants through ‘Homes in Powys’.
Cllr Matthew Dorrance, deputy leader and cabinet member for a fairer Powys, said: “One of the priorities of the council is to tackle the housing emergency in the county and this can be achieved by building high quality council housing.
