ONE vehicle is currently stranded in floodwater in a village outside Oswestry, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has announced.
Firefighters from three stations – Oswestry, Baschurch and Shrewsbury – were sent to Crosslanes to Argoed Road, Melverley at around 3pm on Thursday.
According to a SFRS spokesman, one vehicle is in floodwater.
They added: "Reports of two people in a vehicle stuck in flood water.
"Both individuals were rescued and were left in the care of West Midlands Ambulance."
A stop message confirming no further assistance was needed was sent to SFRS control at 4.05pm.
