FIRE crews have been called out to rescue a lady from her car after she had entered floodwater this morning.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called out to the incident in Maesbury Marsh at 8.53am, Saturday, December 9.
Two fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Oswestry and Shrewsbury.
A spokesperson from SFRS said: “ One lady was rescued from a partially submerged car which had entered floodwater.
“A tirfor winch was used.”
A stop message, confirming no further assistance was needed, was sent to control at 10.23am.
