PANT Women Institute's last meeting for the year took a festive turn with an 'Alternative Nativity'.
The event was presented by member Sandra Hayward, with enthusiastic volunteers privided with costumes and props told the Nativity tale saturated with improvisation.
A spokesperson said: “Interspersed with carols, it was a performance with much improvisation and silliness – maybe one a little less reverent than usual but which was tremendous fun and started everyone’s Christmas celebrations in style.”
After the performance, viewers enjoyed the pooled refreshments and the committee served tea and coffee.
