KNOCKIN and Kinnerley Cricket Club have raised £1,000 for Oswestry's Movement Centre.
The money was raised at the club's annual Presidents' Day, branded 'Knockin-Around' which was held in August.
The extremely well attended gathering brought the club and community together in an exceptional day of light-hearted cricket, entertainment and fundraising, with the ground transforming into a vibrant hub of activity from the morning to evening.
Cricketers, supporters, families and residents from the surrounding villages congregated to partake in activities, enjoy the food and drink on offer and support a great cause.

The money raised across the event will support the club's ongoing development and meant the club were delighted to raise enough funds to pledge a donation of £1,000 to the Movement Centre, Oswestry, a local charity dedicated to helping children with movement disabilities.
Hugh Morris, Chair of Knockin and Kinnerley Cricket Club, expressed his gratitude to everyone that supported the day, saying: "The event exceeded our expectations, and we are immensely thankful for the support from our members, community, sponsors, and volunteers.
"It’s fantastic to have raised one thousand pounds for such a worthwhile local charity. We aim to grow the event each year and have already started to plan for 2024."
Curtis Langley from The Movement Centre said: “We were delighted when we were asked to be the charity partner of this years’ event.
"It is fantastic to be a part of events that bring a community together, and it sounds like it was a great day for everyone.
"The Movement Centre relies on the kind support of our local community, and it means we can continue to provide our therapy completely free to all families. A huge thank you to everyone involved."
