Hector's Greyhound Rescue has launched a Christmas appeal seeking festive cheer for the hounds in their care.
The Wales and northern England-based charity has over 50 dogs in residence, largely discarded by the racing industry.
Now they're hoping that local folk can help out this Christmas with a donation of a small shoebox - containing a soft toy, a natural treat, and a can of sardines or similar.

And they launched the appeal in Aberystwyth on Sunday along with media presenter Jess Davies, whose mother volunteers at Hector's.
"It's been a tough year for everyone," says founder Hayley Bradley, "And we are so grateful for the community's support – it makes such a difference to the lives of these dogs while they wait for their forever homes."
For those keen to help, financial donations are also being accepted towards a new van.
Donations can be made by contacting Hayley on their website.
