A RUGBY tournament in memory of an Oswestry man returns to the town this weekend.
The annual Keighley Cup will take place at Oswestry Rugby Club on Saturday (October 7) from 2pm and will once again see the club take on the Oswestry School Old Boys.
The competition is held in memory of Nigel Keighley who tragically died in an accident while mountain walking in Spain in 2017.

He was a founding member of Oswestry Rugby Club and went on to be club captain and a coach, while he was linked to Oswestry School as a teacher and housemaster for more than 20 years, and was also head of rugby.
Following his retirement, Mr Keighley was an Oswestry first responder.
This year’s competition will raise money for a Tanzanian school that has a sports field named in Mr Keighley’s memory, as well as the Midlands Air Ambulance.
