A MAN was arrested following an incident in Oswestry in the early hours of Sunday (October 1) morning.
Police and firefighters were called to Maesbury Road Industrial Estate shortly after midnight following a road traffic collision.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police confirmed a man was arrested nearby in connection with the incident.
They added: "We were called to report of an abandoned crashed car on Mile end Business Park in Oswestry on Sunday, October 1 at around 12.20am.
"A man was arrested nearby in connection with the incident."
One fire crew from Oswestry attended and used cutters/spreaders and a hosereel jet to secure the Peugeot.
Pictures revealed how the front end of the vehicle had suffered major damage.

The stop call to say no other crews were required came in at 12.34am.
