ONE of the main staples of celebrating Halloween in Oswestry is already up and running for this year.
Llynclys Hall Farm Shop – self-styled as Shropshire and Mid Wales's premier pumpkin destination – now has tickets on sale for 2023.
The patch will be opening for the public to buy pumpkins from on Sunday, October 7 until the day itself - Tuesday, October 31.
A spokesperson for the farm said: “We’re operating pumpkin ticketing again in 2023.

“The pumpkin patch will be open from Saturday, October 7 till Tuesday, October 31 every day from 9am till 5pm where you can find tiny pumpkins to huge ones, bumpy ones to smooth ones and every conceivable colour.
“We have changed the pricing this year introducing a discounted ticket for the first two midweek days (excluding Friday 20th).
“The midweek ticket is £3.50 plus a booking fee and the other days are the same as the previous years priced at £5 plus booking fee.
“The time allocated is for when you enter the pick your own, you can stay for as long as you want.
“Prices for pumpkins start from £1.
“Dogs are more than welcome to visit, as long as they are on a lead.
“Contactless payments are preferred (cash accepted).”
