OSWESTRY Film Society is bringing plenty of famous names to the town as its autumn schedule gets underway.
The society, which shows its films at Kinokulture in Arthur Street, will have Sir Michael Palin and Dame Maggie Smith joining Ryan Reynolds to entertain audiences.
The pair’s British classic – A Private Function – will be shown at the start of October.
James Bond, from Oswestry Film Society, added that a cult classic in Rob Reiner’s The Princess Bride will also be shown on Tuesday (September 5).
He said: “A host of well-known British faces – plus a pig! – star in the latest addition to the Oswestry Film Society, as we start October with the British comedy classic A Private Function.
