A Powys resident had a lucky escape after a car crashed through the front of his house whilst he was sat in his front room enjoying his morning cup of tea.
At around 8.30am this morning emergency services were called to the scene after a car crashed in to the front of thehouse near Wynllan road in Pen-y-bont.
Resident Jim Maccall, who lives nearby, said he rushed to the scene and that miraculously no one was hurt - even though the man who lived at the property, Harry, was only a few feet away from the impact in his front room.

Mr Maccall said residents were "in shock" at the accident and have long had issues with road safety in the area.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue have confirmed that crews had left the scene but that engineers were checking whether the house was still structurally secure.
A spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue service said: "At 8.27am on Monday, July 31, the Llanfyllin crew were called to an incident along the B4396 road near Pen-y-Bont, Oswestry.
"A road traffic collision had occurred involving one pick-up truck colliding with a private dwelling. The crew administered first aid to the one casualty from the vehicle.
"Severe structural damage has been caused to the property and a structural engineer is currently in attendance.
"Due to the proximity to the structurally unsafe property, Wynllan road has been closed on one side by the Highways Department and crew members assisted with traffic control.
"The Ambulance Service were also in attendance and gave medical advice to the casualty.
"The incident was transferred to Dyfed Powys Police and structural engineer, crews were involved with making the scene safe and traffic management before leaving at 11.17am."
