A MAN was arrested and another seriously injured in a street fight in Oswestry, leading to West Mercia Police officers appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened shortly after midnight in Llys Road, Oswestry, with reports of an altercation that began in a property before spilling into the road.
Police are now urging for witnesses to come forward, from people or dashcam footage, to try to establish facts around the case.

A police spokesman said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses to an altercation at around 12:15am down Llys Road in Oswestry.
“The incident was with at least two males that spilled out onto the street.
“One male received serious injuries and has been taken to hospital.
“One man was arrested at the scene.

“Officers carrying out enquiries are appealing for witnesses, including CCTV or possible dash-cam footage.
