POLICE officers in Oswestry have made a series of arrests for different offences committed, they have announced.
Members of the Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) said that on Thursday, July 13, three men and one woman were arrested on charges of supplying a controlled drug.
Officers also stated that a woman was arrested and charged with eight offences of historical thefts from a shop in the town, in a post online.
The post said: “Yesterday (July 13, West Mercia officers arrested three men and one woman in Orchard Street area of Oswestry. All four were arrested for being concerned in the supply of controlled drug.
“Another female was arrested in the town centre for historical thefts from a store. She was charged with eight offences.”

Meanwhile, officers from Oswestry SNT have confirmed that two young people have been arrested following an offence in Mid Wales.
PCSO Robert Hamer posted on Saturday: “Two juveniles have been arrested today, following the theft of a BMW motor vehicle in Dyfed-Powys.
“The vehicle activated ANPR cameras near Oswestry. Officers attended the area and located the vehicle crashed on the roadside.”
