A WOMAN had slipped into shallow water down an embankment in Oswestry and had to be rescued by Shropshire firefighters on Saturday.
Two crews from Oswestry and Shrewsbury, joined by an operations manager, were called to the River Morda at Coed Y Go shortly after 6pm on July 15.
A spokesman for Shropshire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said firefighters threw down a line for the woman to climb back up.

They said: "This incident involved one person who had slipped down the bank into shallow water.
"Crews used line rescue to assist the casualty back up the bank and left in the care of the ambulance service."
Officers from West Mercia Police were also at the scene, and confirmed that she was sent taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Officers from Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) tweeted: "A lady was rescued in the Pont Duncan area of Morda after slipping on the muddy river bank into the river.
"All three rescue services worked together to recover the lady who had minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
"The public is reminded to be careful near water."
A stop message to confirm that no further assistance was needed was sent to SFRS control shortly after 7.30pm.
