A MAN accused of arson in Oswestry has been found and detained by police following an appeal.
West Mercia Police asked for the public to help track down John Rowlands after he failed to appear in court.
The 45-year-old was due to appear at Telford Magistrates' Court recently to face charges relating to the offence in Unicorn Road in March, last year.

The North Shropshire Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) confirmed early today (Wednesday, July 5) that they had successfully located and arrested him.
A spokesperson from SNT said: “Thanks to all those who shared the appeal in relation John Rowlands who was wanted on warrant after failing to appear for an offence of arson and was believed to be in the Whitchurch area.
“We can confirm that he has been located and arrested by members of the North Shropshire SNT.”
