MAGISTRATES have banned a man from driving for 12 months after he was caught drug driving in Oswestry town centre.
Samuel Humphreys was stopped on Oswald Road on December 16, last year, while driving a Mini.
A test revealed he had 200 micrograms of the Class B drug ketamine in 100 millilitres of blood - the legal limit is 20 micrograms.
At Telford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, June 13, Humphreys, of Knockin Heath, near Oswestry, pleaded guilty to the offence.
Magistrates banned the 20-year-old from driving for 12 months and fined him £376.
He must also pay £135 court costs and a £150 victim surcharge, making a total of £661.
A further charge of driving while unfit through drugs was withdrawn.
