OSWESTRY Raptors Cheerleading team headed to their first competition at the UKCA Summer Championships in Manchester earlier this month.
They worked extremely hard in the lead up to the competition and did absolutely amazing the day.
The Level 3 stunt team won first place and the club's Level 2 stunt team were in the busiest category of the day and still placed eighth.

A club spokesperson said: "We are beyond proud of them and it’s a massive achievement as they were against all teams which have competed for many years.
"They had a brilliant day watching some incredible teams, one of the highlights being a team from Germany, and have lots to aim towards."
