AN OSWESTRY man has been banned from the roads after he admitted drink driving.
Ivan Georgiev was over the legal drink drive limit when he was stopped by police on the A5 at Oswestry on November 29, last year.
Telford Magistrates' Court was told the 46-year-old of College Road had been driving a red Ford Focus when he was stopped.
A test revealed he had 121 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80mg.

Georgiev pleaded guilty at the hearing and was told his plea would be taken into consideration.
Magistrates banned him from driving for 14 months - however, this could be reduced by 10 per cent if he successfully completes an awareness course.
He was also fined £220 and must pay £135 court costs and a £48 victim surcharge.
