WHITTINGTON Castle is gearing up to welcome back the highly anticipated Plant Hunters' Fair on Sunday, July 2.
The renowned event, known for its diverse range of plants and free entry, has become a highlight for garden lovers across the region.
Martin Blow, co-founder of Plant Hunters' Fairs, expressed his excitement about returning to this picturesque venue.

He said: "We are thrilled to be coming back to this magnificent location.
The summer plant fair at Whittington Castle has become a beloved tradition in the calendars of garden enthusiasts and is always a hit with visitors.
“We have curated a remarkable selection of specialist nurseries, catering to both novice gardeners and seasoned plant connoisseurs.”
The plant fair will commence at 10 am and run until 4 pm on Sunday, July 2.
Admission to the fair and castle grounds is free, with normal on-site parking charges applicable.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments at the tearooms.
Mr Blow added: “Attendees can expect an array of plants that provide instant impact as well as later-blooming species, ensuring a continuous burst of colours in their gardens.
“Moreover, our plant fair offers the perfect opportunity to acquire new and exciting plants without breaking the bank.
“Should you need any advice or guidance, our knowledgeable nursery experts will be on hand to assist you.”
Set amidst in the Whittington village near Oswestry, the fair provides a captivating backdrop with the castle as its centrepiece.
Plant Hunters' Fairs originated in 2007, founded by passionate plant enthusiasts Janet and Martin Blow from Hankelow, Audlem, Cheshire.
These fairs stand out due to their affordable entry costs, with many being free or offered at reduced prices.
