A BRITISH comedian, writer and TV personality is set to present a one-of-a-kind live show to celebrate the release of his latest book, ‘The World’s Worst Monsters’.
With the help of Oswestry’s Booka Bookshop and Linghams Booksellers, David Walliams will hold the event on Sunday, July 16, at the Festival Village, located in Chester Racecourse.
A spokesperson for Booka said: “Fun for all the family – laughter guaranteed.

“Come dressed to impress in your best monster get-up to be in with a chance to win a star prize.”
Attendees will also have a unique opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session, where their burning questions will be answered directly from the stage.
“A ‘Meet and Greet’ with David will follow after the show but due to the number of people attending, we are sorry that David will be unable to sign books on the day,” the spokesperson added.
For those eager to capture a keepsake from the evening, a photo opportunity with David Walliams will be offered during the 'Meet and Greet' session.

Doors open at 5:00pm, with the show starting promptly at 6:00pm.
In addition, copies of David's other popular books will be available for purchase at the event, giving attendees a chance to complete their collections.
