A CRICKET club near Oswestry is celebrating after it signed a five-year sponsorship agreement with a Shropshire-based company.

Knockin and Kinnerley Cricket Club (KKCC), which represents both villages, said it was ‘pleased’ to announce the new sponsorship partnership with Shrewsbury-based Morris Lubricants, a well-known division of Paterson Enterprises.

The new five-year deal adds to a much-valued existing covers sponsorship deal and will see the Morris Lubricants logo feature on all KKCC adult playing shirts, as well as introducing company signage around the ground.

Paterson Enterprises will also feature heavily on the club's website www.kkcc.co.uk

Knockin and Kinnerley Cricket Club chairman, Hugh Morris, said he was delighted to be maintaining a smooth relationship with the firm.

He said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to align with such a well-known and respected local business as Morris Lubricants.
