OSWESTRY Town Council has revealed the temporary closure of the children’s playground in Cae Glas park for 'emergency essential maintenance', due to hole in the ground.
As of this morning, Thursday, June 8, the council confirmed that the playground would be closed for an unknown duration.

A spokesperson from the Council said: “A hole has appeared in the grounds of the children’s play area in Cae Glas Park.
"We are currently investigating this and for safety reasons, we need to keep the play area closed.
"As soon as we have more information, we will let the public know.”
In a post on Twitter, a spokesperson for the authority said it has been closed for 'emergency essential maintenance'.
