HUNDREDS of cyclists from across the region are gearing up for the highly anticipated Hope House Cycle Challenge.
This annual event, which will take place on Sunday, August 6, is organised by Hope House Children's Hospice in Oswestry, and aims to raise funds for the vital care and support provided to children and families in need.
Fundraiser Bekki Fardoe said: “It’s going to be great to see all of our riders again here at Hope House and out on the route.
“We are so grateful to our sponsors Recycling Group UK for their incredible support in helping us be able to put on such an amazing event which will raise vital money to support children and families that need care at our hospices.”

Bekki encouraged participants to sign up early to secure their place and take advantage of the discounted early bird fee of £27.50.
On-the-day registration will be available for £35, subject to availability.
She added: “You can also choose to get your hands on one of our cycle jerseys for the event and take on the ride porting our colours.”
Last year's cycle challenge was a tremendous success, raising over £11,000 for Hope House.
Participants can choose between two challenging routes, both starting from Hope House.
The first route covers a scenic 56-mile journey around Lake Vyrnwy, while the second route spans 70 miles, taking cyclists to Lake Bala and including the formidable Bwlch y Groes mountain pass, known as one of the highest public road mountain passes in Wales with a summit altitude of 545 meters.
With a significant number of cyclists already signing up, this year's event is expected to surpass expectations once again.
