ROAD CLOSURES will be in place for this weekend's Kings of Leon concerts at The Racecourse.
The multi-award winning rock band will take to the stage for two sell out gigs at Wrexham AFC's historic ground on Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28, for a bank holiday weekend to remember.
They will be joined by much-loved Wrexham band Declan Swans and Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones' new band Far From Saints.
Early gates will open from 4pm for the Wrexham Lager Stand car park food and drink village.
Concert gates will open at 5pm. The event's curfew is at 10.30pm. The Racecourse floodlights will remain on until 1am to allow the clean up process to take place.

Ahead of the event, people are being notified of travel arrangements near the stadium.
Road closures:
- Full closure of Crispin Lane between 1pm and 11.59pm (access for residents via Stansty Road only).
- One way on Mold Road between 1pm and 9.45pm.
- Full closure of Mold Road between 9.45pm and 11.59pm.
Mold Road will be one way only - heading out of Wrexham - between 1pm and 9.45pm.
Park & Ride and any coaches to the event will be directed through the city, either via Ruthin Road and be allowed to drop off on the inbound side of Mold Road, then re-join the outbound carriageway. This will be managed by traffic management operatives.
Residents will also have to access the roads apposite the stadium via the the city centre.
There will be full road closures at 9.45pm while the stadium is emptying.

Roads affected: Grosvenor Road, Bradley Road, Regent Street, Stansty Road (under bridge) - access for residents will be maintained and it will be controlled by traffic management operatives.
All traffic from Glyndwr University will exit onto Plas Coch roundabout.
All traffic will go left from Plas Coch School onto Stansty Chain Road.
Crispin Lane will be closed from the access to the back of The Racecourse ground.
Traffic management:
- The approaches to B&Q Roundabout will be reduced to 2 lanes from Plas Coch Road to prevent a left turn towards town centre.
- Central Road will be coned down to one lane, to direct traffic into Regent Street, towards town for the full closure.
- A section of the ‘closed’ carriageway on Mold Road will be coned off for Bus/Coach/ drop off. This will be managed by traffic management operatives.
- They will monitor traffic at J4 and A525 near the Park & Ride and take action as required.
