A NEW beauty and hair salon has opened in Oswestry.
Becky Davies, who many will know from working at the town's former Toni and Guy salon, has opened Flaunt, in Church Street.
Becky explained that she had been thinking about opening a new salon in town for a couple of years.
She said: “Since Covid, I had some time to think and decided to move forward with this idea.
“I spent years training and perfecting my skills from my time in Toni and Guy academies, specialising in creative cutting, colouring and barbering; to my Wella master colour expert degree, recognised worldwide.

“I am passionate about continuing to use what I have learnt to educate others.”
Becky wanted to create an independent luxury salon, and she has done so with hairstylists Amy Price and Sammy Davies Edwards - who also worked at Toni and Guy - and beautician Immy Windsor.
“We've got a prime location as well,” she added. “Church Street really provides a lot of customers, and we wanted to be seen more as there is a lot of competition between hairdressers in Oswestry.”
Becky said she had to give the salon a makeover before starting the new business.
“I am lucky to have my previous co-workers with me, and we all have a client base anyway so that really helps, but we have also had many new customers come in,” she continued.
Becky has worked in the hair industry for more than 17 years, and she also specialises in the balayage technique and Great Lengths hair extensions. She has also completed the Francesco Afro Caribbean cutting course.

Becky continued: “We are local girls, and we enjoy what we do, and we want to bring that high-end experience to the town.”
Flaunt is opened Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9am until 5pm, Wednesdays until 7pm, Thursdays until 6pm, and every other Monday.
