RUBY Wax cancelled her Oswestry book talk only a few hours before the event on Wednesday, due to ‘personal reasons’.
The comedian, actress and writer was set to appear at the Booka Bookshop, in Church Street, on Wednesday evening, May 10.
Unfortunately, a couple of hours before the event the book shop announced on its social media feeds that the event was cancelled and that ticket holders had been informed.

A post on Facebook said: “Unfortunately, due to personal reasons Ruby Wax has had to cancel tonight's event.
“All ticket holders have been contacted.”
Ruby was meant to talk about her new book ‘I am Not as Well as I Thought I Was’, which dives deep in her journey trying to navigate her mental health after ending up in a psychiatric institution.
She dedicated the book to her readers that are “deep in the darkness of mental illness” hoping to make them feel less alone.
