A MAN was taken to hospital after he fell off a wall in an Oswestry park earlier today (Thursday, May 11).
Paramedics were called to Brogyntyn Park, in Mount Road, at around 2.30am while firefighters were also called to help them gain access to the area in which the man had become stuck.
A spokesperson from WMAS said the man suffered potentially serious injuries.
They added: “An ambulance and paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a man with potentially serious injuries.
“He was treated by ambulance staff at the scene before being conveyed to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further treatment.”

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were also at the scene from 3.53am, where one fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.
A spokesperson from SFRS said: “Crews assisted ambulance with access to patient who had fallen from wall, crews used small gear equipment to gain access to the area to reach the patient.”
A stop message confirming no further assistance was needed was sent to control at 4.33am.
