A SUPERMARKET giant has explained its decision to come to Oswestry.
Asda has launched one of its 'Asda On the Move' shops at the town's Mile End Services, off the A5/A483, on Wednesday April 12.
The supermarket hinted at the opening with a covered logo for weeks before the opening.

Now in full swing, a spokesperson for the chain said they were happy to bring the brand's services to Oswestry.
“We’re always looking for ways to bring Asda’s great products to more customers through this partnership with EG Group," they said.
“The popularity of our existing Asda on the Move stores shows us that customers want to be able to pick up essential products or grab a spontaneous treat whilst they’re refuelling.
“We look forward to providing that service to customers at our Oswestry store too.”
