THE team which has put a community theatre near Oswestry on the map is looking to expand its numbers in 2023.

The Holroyd Community Theatre, in Weston Rhyn and part of Moreton Hall School, is looking for an events manager to join the team and help drive community arts programming.

The state-of-the-art theatre, with a strong focus on community arts, is looking for a talented and passionate individual to ‘contribute to the transformative power of the arts in bringing people together’ and ‘creating positive change in the community’.

Creative director Michael Jenkins, who leads the theatre's passionate and talented team, said the new team member would be someone who would have to blend in with its ethos.

He said: "At The Holroyd Community Theatre, we believe in the transformative power of the arts to bring people together and create positive change in our community.

“Our commitment to community arts reflects our belief that the arts should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or means.
