OIL from a generator at a major Oswestry supermarket led to Shropshire firefighters being called out on Monday evening.
Two crews, from Ellesmere and Baschurch, were sent to Sainsbury's in Black Gate Street, at around 6.50pm after reports of smoke coming from the generator.
Firefighters from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) used Environment Agency equipment to tackle the issue, using a pack to isolate the leak and shut it down.
A stop message was sent to SFRS control around 30 minutes later to confirm no further assistance was needed.
