FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a village near Oswestry this morning (Monday, March 27).
The incident on Chapel Lane in Knockin Heath was reported as a fire in the open and the call came in at 6.43am.
One crew from Baschurch attended but the incident was found to be a controlled burn.
The stop message to say no further assistance was required came in at 7.18am.
