A CHIMNEY fire at a property in a village near Oswestry led to a call out for firefighters.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue crews ware called to Selattyn today, Monday, March 13, at 2.53pm after reports of a chimney being on fire.
A fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.
Firefighters used a stirrup pump, a thermal imaging camera, chimney rods, buckets of water rods to put out the blaze.

A spokesperson from SFRS said: "Fire in flue of chimney.
"Natural ventilation used in smoke logged property.
"Property has been fully ventilated and temperatures checked."
A stop signal confirming no further assistance was needed was sent to control an hour later at 3.49pm.
