A CHIMNEY fire at a pub in Weston Rhyn last night led to a call out for firefighters from Oswestry.
The crew was called to the Cross Keys Inn, in Station Road, Weston Rhyn, on Monday, February 27, at 5.56pm after reports of a chimney being on fire.
Firefighters used a stirrup pump, a thermal imaging camera and chimney rods to put out the blaze.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "There was a fire within chimney flue with hot embers falling into hearth.
"Crews used stirrup pump and chimney rods to extinguish, while temperatures were checked using a thermal imaging camera."
A stop signal confirming no further assistance was needed was sent to control an hour later at 6.55pm.
