OVERNIGHT works on the Halton bridge and surrounding areas near Chirk will take place until Wednesday, Traffic Wales has announced.
The closure, from Halton Bridge to the A483 junction one at Ruabon, will run for two nights until Wednesday, March 1, and is for ‘soft estates work’.
Diversions will be in place for the duration of the overnight works which will be between 9pm and 6am.
A spokesman said: “Work to carry out soft estates work between Halton roundabout and J1 Ruabon will start on February 27 for two nights.
“The works are being carried out overnight in February when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption.
