CHIRK Library has launched its latest sale of discarded books ahead of World's Book Day.
Every year the library holds a sale of books because they have to make room for new titles.
Liz Jones, Chirk Library assistant, said that the sale started at the beginning of February and it will carry on until the end of March.
She continued: "We try to have a sale every year as early as possbile.
"It's just something that we have to do unfortunately.

"We have a wide selection of non-fiction, alongside children's books and some fiction.
"There is a little bit for everybody."
The books on sale are second-hand and they cost in the range of £1 each.
World Book Day 2023 is next week on Thursday, March 2, and this would be a perfect opportunity to grab a bargain.
