OSWESTRY police officers are thanking residents after they have found the vehicle reported for 'suspicious incidents' in Gobowen.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) tweeted that on Monday, February 20, between 3pm and 3.15pm a grey Volskwagen Golf had been paying "undue attention" to cars and properties.
Today the car has been found abandoned in North Wales, and it turned out to be stolen and was running on false plates.
The police tweeted about their discovery: "This vehicle was found abandoned on North Wales.
"Vehicle was running on false plates and turned out to be stolen.
