A TASTE of the summer is coming back to Oswestry this year with a Festival Square beach set for a return, among other events.

The confirmation of the beach for the late May Bank Holiday was confirmed by Oswestry Business Improvement District, while in April, the town will play host to a street circus.

A spokesman for BID said the group was delighted to be welcoming back the events for 2023 and hopes the Oswestry public supports it.

They said: “Following on from the success and positive feedback from the general public and local businesses, Oswestry BID is excited to announce the welcome return of some great free family-friendly events in 2023.

“From May 27-29, Oswestry Beach returns to Festival Square.

“A hugely popular sandy spectacle with deckchairs and sounds of the seaside, the event was a great hit with families.
